Following elections of EUREPGAP member representatives, the EUREPGAP Fruit and Vegetable Sector Committee met for the first time at Fruit Logistica in Berlin on 7 February 2007.

Kristian Moeller, Secretary EUREPGAP, said “We have established the Sector Committee to represent the views of our global membership in a group focused fully on the needs of the Fruit and Vegetable Sector”

The group will be responsible for assisting the sector in implementing the new 2007 standard and reaching out to a wide range of stakeholders to tackle emerging issues as well developing future versions of the standard.”
