One year after starting the process to develop ChinaGAP on the basis of
EurepGAP, the CNCA Vice-chairman Cheng Fang signed a second Memorandum
of Understanding with Kristian Moeller, Secretary EurepGAP, on 12 April
2006 in Beijing. This agreement will initiate the formal benchmarking
procedure and covers the rules on the surveillance of ChinaGAP after
achieving full recognition.
CNCA, The Certification and Accreditation
Administration of the People’s Republic of China, has published the
ChinaGAP code, rules and training documents and will start with first
pilot certification activities in 14 provinces of China.
