The Steering Committee IFA met in Brussels on 18 March 04 and reviewed the progress of the TSC roadmap of implementation. Important policy decisions were taken to give guidance to the next TSC and expert group meetings.

Now is the time for more stakeholders to sign up for membership, participate in the online review process and attend the next Livestock and Combinable Crops Conference on 9 and 10 Nov. 04 in Amsterdam.

In addition the Committee met with representatives of the SAI Platform (Sustainable Agricultural Initiative of the Food Manufacturing Industries) for the first time and agreed to continue with formal regular meetings.
