EurepGAP harmonises Farmer Group Certification
in Fruit and Vegetables, Flower and Ornamentals, Integrated Farm Assurance, Integrated Aquaculture Assurance, (Green) Coffee
EurepGAP has recently published a standardised Farmer Group Quality
Management System Checklist that harmonises the application and implementation
of EurepGAP requirements on Farmer Group level.
The document is published and freely available on the Eurep.org Website. See under "Documents" in each product scope under the heading "Checklist"!
This checklist is a EurepGAP normative document. All CBs will have to fill in this checklist when auditing Option 2 Farmer Groups. An interim period has been set for compliance with this requirement: after 31st
December 2005 all new option 2 certification audits must have an option 2 checklist filled in as evidence.
Those especially interested in the specific challenges, achievements, progress and learnings from farmer group certification for EurepGAP, should take the opportunity and register for the upcoming 6th EurepGAP Conference on 17-19 October 2005 in Paris. The issue will be addressed in a series of presentations and discussions with delegates.
